JMCAnderson is an artist, curator, facilitator and community engagement professional exploring identity, place, belonging and creative activism. Her most recent work and research has been exploring the complexities within having a dual heritage through creative activism, memories, streams of consciousness and commentary to create dialogue and often evolving into participatory experiences. She uses an array of materials; paint, text, audio and film with interventions, performance and movement becoming more prominent in her work.

She also works on socially engaged projects for others, where it often includes research and investigations into narratives and stories from the past, present and future. This work is usually contextualised by co-creating or working with diverse communities, to raise awareness, educate and encourage conversations.

JMCAnderson lives in Norfolk and works across East Anglia whilst also currently working as a Community Engagement Officer for Ipswich Museum.
